The UK Association of Online Publishers (AOP) is committed to upholding and celebrating the highest standards in all areas of digital publishing, and the AOP Online Publishing Awards 2003, formerly known as the PPAi awards, aim to show both the consumer and the business worlds what high quality content, products and services can be found online.
AOP hosted an interactive forum on 29 January 2004 on paid content, looking at both publishers aims and experience of charging for content and comparing these with online payment solutions specifically suited to publishers.
The half-day AOP forum aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing on areas such as subscriptions and micro-payments, looking at the different strategies implemented by both business-to-business and consumer online publishers, and comparing those to the products and services available in the industry.
AOP hosted an interactive forum on 30 March 2005 on making use of the latest technology to reach new audiences and mazimize advertising revenue.
Broadband technology is set to revolutionise internet publishing, according to speakers at an AOP forum, future proofing your online publishing business, yesterday.
AOP has joined the Publishing Skills Group (PSG), an alliance of trade associations and training organisations across the book, journal, magazine, newspaper and online publishing sectors.
